I feel a bit silly wanting to go to this festival (since as we all know, Ava can't have ice cream), but I definitely wanted to share with my loyal readers in Austin and the surrounding areas because, well, it's FREE ICE CREAM! WOOT!
Anyhow, here are the details on tomorrow's 5th annual Ice Cream Festival in Austin's lovely Waterloo Park, taking place for 10AM - 7PM.
Not only does it promise to be a delicious time, but there are many children's activities, games and live entertainment, as well as concessions that go to support local charities. How can you say no to eating ice cream for a good cause? Dogs are welcome also!
