Happy Mother's Day!

Mother's Day is AWESOME.

In case I didn't already get the most amazing gift of my life - a family consisting of D and Ava - D got me two things I've REALLY wanted: an electronic steamer and a hand immersion blender. Yeah, yeah, I'm setting the feminist movement back a good fifty years by asking for these type of things for gifts, but I'm excited to make Ava's baby food in a couple months, and I needed these two things to do so. Not to mention, I can steam salmon and veggies and have a quick, easy, healthful dinner. Sold!

Ava wanted to celebrate bright and early at 6am, but thankfully ate and went back to sleep at 7:30 until 10AM. When we finally did wake up, it was to wonderful morning surprise: brunch! Eggs, bacon, toast, dairy-free blueberry muffins and fresh pineapple-orange mimosas! Heaven!!!

Hope everyone is having an amazing day!

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

  2. Happy 1st Mother's Day!!! I'm jealous at your awesome gifts! I have a very small food processor, but that's it. I'm hoping it's enough! I may have to splurge on something else since I am also dedicated to making all of Jack's food. Go us! :)

  3. Happy Mother's Day to you too! I'm trying to make Asher a baby book using Blurb like you had mentioned a few months ago. Were you pleased with the final product?
