Can one of y'all please get pregnant already?!
First and foremost, I call NOT. IT.
It's just, I need one of you to, so that in fifteen months or so when I am ready to consider even the slightest possibility of having another child so that A doesn't end up spoiled or lonely or socially awkward, I'll have a good idea of what being pregnant and managing a newborn is like with a very active toddler and can make an informed decision.
So get on it, please :) Or shall we say, get it on, please. Ba-dum-cha!
*And yes, by informed I mean I want to watch one of you juggle a one-year-old, a huge belly, and the demands of recovering from childbirth/the sleep deprivation brought on by a newborn. I wonder why no one is stepping up to the plate after reading that! Ha!
How about juggling a newborn, a 6yo, med school, life in general, and getting back in shape for the summer?!?! haha, that's my goals for the year!
ReplyDeleteI would, but the doc sort of pt the kibosh on it. We'd love a second kid, and Marianne's about the right age at 18 months, but...yeah...the almost-dying on both our parts, the heaps and heaps of bills...*sigh*
ReplyDeleteAs much as J and I want another, I'm not convinced it's worth the risk...I'll probably go see an OB specialist if we decide to give it a try. If we do, I'll let you know. :P
I call not it...for now. I keep waiting for someone to turn up preggo soon....
ReplyDeleteSorry! The comment above was from me. I forgot Brandon was on my ipad earlier.
ReplyDeleteWhatever you do, don't let Drew see this post. He's already bugging me for another baby and I'm holding him off (for now!). I'd love for Asher to have a little, but can wait a bit longer! Someone else is welcome to go ahead. :o)
ReplyDeleteSo funny you post this today as I was just wondering how it would to be preggers and tending to Lil Man......not sure if I will take your challenge right now :) Give me a little longer than maybe.

Not it!!! LOL. I can't handle the financial impact another kid would bring right now. Gah, I'm just thankful I don't have to buy any more formula and that daycare costs went down $30 a week now that Riley is a toddler. Whew! I'd like to give it another year or two before we jump in that boiling pot again. :-)
ReplyDeleteIf I were 10 years younger, I'd definitely have another. But I'm old and tired ... one is more than enough for me!
ReplyDeleteI'll call IT! (: .. We are trying .. Just waiting on it to be our turn!!
ReplyDeleteI guess I will step up to the plate here! I am totally willing to deal with everything if it means I don't have to have 8 years between my kids again. C is SOOO spoiled...and definitely has the only child syndrome. BUT...we have been "trying" since October. Hoping for one before E turns 2!!! Cross your fingers and say a prayer that we get a healthy pregnancy going soon :)
ReplyDeleteWe'll be trying in June...Carly will be 9 months...should be interesting :o)
ReplyDeleteI definitely, without a doubt, call NOT IT!! I definitely do not want Jack to be an only child because I am one and I hate it, even now. But I'm not even going to start thinking about it until he is 3. I'm hoping I can have another when he is 4. That way he's old enough to do things on his own and he can help out more. I don't understand the whole, "have them close together so that you only go through diapers, bottles, etc. once." I don't think I'll mind going through it all again but wouldn't want to have 2 in diapers at the same time. But, like I said, it's going to be a few years if at all!!
