Disneyland, The Finale.

If there is one piece of advice I could offer a family planning a trip to Disneyland, it's that four days - or really, three full days and one half day - is enough time. For us, day four marked the beginning of re-doing a bunch of things we really enjoyed, and rounding out our trip with things that we hadn't done that hadn't been absolutely high up on our to-do list (Enchanted Tiki Room, riding the Monorail and Disney Railroad around the park, etc.). Here's how we spent day our final day in both parks:

One of the things that really stood out to me about California Adventure was how beautiful it is! There are so many scenic spots and great photo opps!

Once we had spent the day hopping between parks in order to hit any and everything that we had missed or wanted to redo, we headed back over to California Adventure to catch World of Color, having procured Fast Passes to the blue group that morning - prime viewing! My family wasn't with us when we got the fast passes, so we were worried we wouldn't be able to sit together, but a really nice usher said that his family wasn't coming to the show that night, and we could take his big group area in the same blue viewing area - so nice! Thanks, dude. You made our night :)

Paradise Pier is gorgeous during the day, but even more so as night falls!

As if we were trying to ace some final pop quiz on how to be Disney aficionados, we then, once World of Color ended, raced (and I mean raced!) over out of California Adventure and into Disneyland to catch the end of the Disney Forever Diamond Celebration fireworks. Ava had fallen asleep the first time we attempted to watch it, so she missed the part when it started to "snow" when 'Let It Go' started playing, and she was dying to see it. Though we ended up having to watch it separately to fit ourselves into the crowded Main Street where they projected images on the sides of the buildings, we were able to catch the show almost in its entirety, managing to catch both finale shows at the parks in one night. Woot!
