H1N1 Vaccine - To Get, or Not to Get?
Hmm...not sure if I'm even really looking for opinions here, maybe just trying to sort things out in a concrete way? Either way, I'm very skeptical of this new Swine Flu (H1N1) Vaccine. Seeing as how it is BRAND SPANKIN' NEW and the effects of this vaccine on a fetus are unknown, I'm seriously doubting I'll go anywhere near it. The only thing about that worrying me is my a.) CRAP immune system, and b.) time of year I'm due. Still, I highly doubt I'll go for it, though I may ask my doctor's opinion at my 20-week visit on 8/12. We'll see, though. I trust my gut over the doctor, to be completely honest.

My appointment is tomorrow (8/6) and I plan to ask the doctor about this. I have never had a flu shot and I don't know if I want to start now with a brand new vaccine. Seems kinda scary to me. Ah well, I'll see what the doctor has to say and let you know!
